RISPERDAL Side Affects
Risperdal is an anti-psychotic drug
prescribed for patients suffering from
schizophrenia, and other behavioral and
psychological disorders. However,
patients taking Risperdal - especially
the elderly - may suffer from dangerous
side effects, including strokes, blood
clots, diabetes and hyperglycemia.
Risperdal patients are also at risk of
developing tardive dyskinesia, a
condition marked by slow, rhythmical,

been several reported cases of

(FDA) in April 2005 issued an alert

NMS

A movement problem called tardive
dyskinesia (TD) when a person's muscles
that cannot be stopped.

High blood sugar and diabetes. Patients

chance for diabetes should have their
blood sugar checked often.
